If there's one thing to take away from the trailer for Company of Heroes 2 new map, Rostov, it's that standing on a frozen lake while your enemy fires at you with a tank is a bloody silly idea. Though it will create dramatic tension.
The Rostov map is one of two new maps that will be released for free. A singleplayer and co-op campaign has also been released though that'll cost you.
Here's a glimpse of Rostov at work:
Rostov's just one of the new multiplayer maps which is being released for free. The other is Kharkov, which takes place within an industrial city.
The paid-for DLC is called Case Blue and follows a German campaign that took place in 1942. The content comes with two solo challenges, two AI battles, and a co-op scenario. It's free for those that pre-ordered Company of Heroes 2, as well as anyone who bought the collector's edition.
It's $10 for everyone else.
The update will released through Steam any minute now.
