This Doom PC controller is stunning, but only 1,000 are being made

CRKD is releasing a brand new UAC-themed Doom PC controller based on its Neo S design, but getting one relies on you being very quick.

CKRD is teaming up with Limited Run Games to release an eye-catching red key card Doom controller, but only 1,000 are being made, so if you want one, you'll need to act fast.

If you're looking forward to the Doom with, thanks to its Hall Effect thumbsticks, adjustable trigger sensitivity, and iconic red key card design.

This controller from CRKD, which I recently learned is pronounced Cracked, is based on its Neo S design. This has the look of a slightly awkward rectangular controller, but its ergonomics actually make it feel very natural and comfortable in-hand.

The Neo S is my go-to controller for the Nintendo Switch, but I also found myself using it more with my PC recently to save having different controllers for each platform. It holds up great, and I have had no latency issues with the wireless Bluetooth connection.

As for the visual design, the red key card print is instantly recognizable to any Doom fan, and it's subtle enough to sit nicely on any desktop or entertainment center, despite its bright red appearance. It even comes with a matching charging stand, so once you're done playing, you can make sure you're juiced up for your next play session.

Adjusting the Neo S controller is all handled through a mobile app, which is great for quick, on-the-fly adjustments regardless of whether you're playing on a PC, Nintendo Switch, or even your smart TV.

The Neo S Doom edition controller is limited to 1,000 units and can be pre-ordered through the Limited Run Games website right now for $69.99. It has an expected shipping date of October 24-31.

Pre-orders are guaranteed by Purple Dot, meaning payment for the controller is held until the item is released, making it easy to claim a refund should anything go wrong during the production process. Pre-orders close on Sunday, May 18, so be sure to get yours in before then, to avoid missing out.
