You'll be sifting through documents and taking s from other characters to piece together the narrative in Mia's mental map. Note that the Perimeter is an open-world, non-linear location, so you'll use your deductions to decide your next steps.
Between solving the mysteries surrounding the Perimeter and recent disappearances, you'll be facing off against horrifying creatures and bosses. It's not a horror game, so to speak, but – drenched in atmosphere and oozing creative creatures – it's a haunting and engrossing location to search and slice your way through.
It's also impossible to ignore Enigma of Fear's beautiful art design, seamlessly blending pixel art sprites with old-school-style 3D environments. These visuals go a long way in making the Perimeter and the mystery at its heart that much more engrossing.
