Ghost Recon Wildlands gears up for a Splinter Cell-themed update, and Ubisoft are kicking that off alongside a free weekend and a major sale for their drug-busting cooperative shooter.

The free weekend starts 00:01 PDT / 03:01 EDT / 07:00 GMT on April 12, lasting until 23:59 PDT on April 15. You'll have access to the full game, including all of open world Bolivia and every single mission. And yes, that includes the new Sam Fisher crossover. No preloads, but you can sign in for the free weekend here.
Progress will transfer to the full game if you decide to buy, and Ubisoft have an extra incentive if you're interested in playing more, with a giant sale on the game and its extra content. Wildlands and its DLC will be "up to" 67% off on both Steam and Uplay. That sale starts on April 12 and lasts until April 18.
