Who are the confirmed characters in GTA 6? Though GTA 6 has been delayed to next year, a second trailer and all new details for the open-world game is keeping us excited about what's to come.
So far, Rockstar has confirmed six GTA 6 characters, though we also saw a few other smaller characters in the first and second trailer, such as Lucia's correctional social worker, and Jason's boss, Brian. We do know that Jason and Lucia are the two main, playable characters, but here are the key players in their story when the GTA 6 release date arrives in 2026.

Jason Duval
In the latest GTA 6 trailer, we get a better look at one of our main protagonists, Jason Duval, who's busy fixing things when he's asked by his boss to collect tenant checks. He es through his daily routine of working out on the beach, grabbing beers from the shop, and then at the end of the day, picking his partner, Lucia, up from prison. It seems Jason performs odd jobs around town, and after a difficult childhood, he ed the Army to try to set himself straight. Soon after, he found himself in with the wrong crowd again, working for local drug runners.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia winds up in prison after some bad luck, but after Jason comes to collect her after serving time, they're both ready to turn their lives around. It doesn't seem from the trailer they're having much luck in doing so, as they're caught up in car chases, armed robbery, and plenty of fights. It looks like Lucia and Jason's relationship is at the center of GTA 6 as they strive towards a better life.
Cal Hampton
We get a glimpse of Cal in the second trailer, revealing that he's Jason's pal. It also looks like he helps Jason out on jobs, as he's seen hanging out with Jason and Lucia in a warehouse and enjoys snooping on Coast Guard comms. He also tags along to bars, asking to be set up with Lucia's friends, and really seems to enjoy a beer.
Boobie Ike
We haven't seen much of Boobie, but he's described as a local Vice City legend. He has a thriving business that spans the city from real estate, strip clubs, and recording studios, with a focus on his new music mogul, Dre'Quan and musical talent, Real Dimez. He seems like a good person to know if you're in the business of money, and as Boobie says, "The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all."
Dre'Quan Priest
An aspiring music producer working at Boobie's studio, Only Raw Records, his main goal is to make music, but he deals drugs to pave the way. He can be seen hanging out with Boobie in his clubs, making moves, and particularly happy with himself that he's signed the talented, Real Dimez.
Real Dimez
The talented Bae-Luxe and Roxy make up Real Dimez. With a key social media presence to bring in fans and an early hit single with local rapper, DWNPLY, these old friends are hoping to make another hit single after g with Only Raw Records.
Raul Bautista
Raul's a seasoned bank robber, and someone Lucia and Jason are likely to team up with. He's pretty reckless though, always wanting to up the score, take the biggest risk, and aim for the highest reward. It doesn't look like Lucia and Jason will come out of a heist unscathed with Raul around, but his charm and confidence will likely persuade them anyway.
