The current Grow a Garden tier list takes cost, rarity, final value, yield, growth time, and longevity into .

For example, spending 100,000 on a seed that only produces a single crop worth 120,000 after 12 hours is never going to be a good investment versus a seed that costs half but produces enough fruits to quadruple your investment in the same amount of time.

A higher yield also means more chances for a fruit to mutate or grow to an above-average size, boosting the return.

With the right Grow a Garden pets lurking around while it grows, you can even play around with the chance of refunding, duplicating, or mutating a costly seed for even more income.

What is the best Grow a Garden seed to buy?

For most players, Bamboo is going to be the best seed to plant. It's a good pick for making cash early on, and can even be a sustainable investment while you're grinding for pets.

While bamboo is a single-yield crop that needs replacing each time it's harvested, it has a relatively short growth time, good returns, is easy to place and harvest thanks to its thin and tall shape, and is frequently restocked at a decent price.

These benefits make the Bamboo seed the best for most Grow a Garden players and well worth picking up wherever it's available. Get lucky with even just a Gold mutation and its sale price will skyrocket.

For experienced players, the Cactus will become one of the better non-limited seeds to grab. Many top-tier Grow a Garden pets include effects that boost these prickly plants in various ways. With the right setup, the cactus is the best Grow a Garden seed for late-game growing.

If you can, the best way to earn money in Grow a Garden is by using sprinklers on Cacao and Pepper plants.

What's the new Grow a Garden seed for the cosmetics update?

There is no new seed for the Cosmetics update 1.07 in Grow a Garden.

Here's the full apology from main developer Jandel on the Grow a Garden Discord:

"… we are sorry you are a little disappointed in the update. We had so many cool commands for the event but we couldn't run them because of Roblox crashing."

"We always want to do good updates for you guys, this week it was a lot of work for us to make the cosmetic system and plot expansions was really hard too. We also made the active pet UI, which everyone had been asking for."

"But I'm sorry we didn't add a new event or seed to the shop. I wont let the community down again and always make sure there is an event or new seed each update."

"Sorry guys, this one was on me, jandel"
