Oh, bollocks. If you take a gander at Steam today, you'll end up staring into the abyss of bargains and discounts, because the Steam Holiday Sale is upon us. I hope you haven't spent all your money on Christmas shopping, or maybe it's a good thing if you have; you won't be throwing all your money at valve over the next week, from today until January 3.
Perhaps most notable amongst the Daily Deals is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It only just appeared on Steam today, and it won't launch next year, but it's a bit of a steal at £15.40.
The first day of the sale brings a bunch of tempting Daily Deals, including the iffy but still fun Batman: Arkham Origins, the excellent and weird Stanley Parable, and the aforementioned Metal Gear Rising pre-purchase. Anything tickling your fancy?
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: £15.40 (-33%)
Batman: Arkham Origins: £19.99 (-50%)
Dead Island: Games That Came Out One Year Edition: £4.99 (-75%)
The Stanley Parable: £5.99 (-40%)
Space Hulk: £7.91 (-66%)
Assetto Corsa: £22.49 (-25%)
Dishonored: £3.74 (-75%)
Monaco: £4.79 (-60%)
BioShock Infinite: £6.24 (-75%)
On the Flash Sales side of things, you can grab CS:GO for £2.99, Divekick for £1.74 and The Typing of the Dead: Overkill for £7.49.
And for those of you who are still mucking around with that trading card malarkey, there's a new snow globe badge to craft and holiday-themed cards to collect. Yay?
Alright, I'm off to bury my wallet in the garden.
