Once the most wishlisted game on all of Steam, Manor Lords has captured the adoration of city builder and strategy game fans by offering a medieval alternative to Cities Skylines 2, and the perfect primer for the Civilization 7. Detailed, deep, and focused on the minutiae of everyday feudal governance, the early access version has already proven a hit, but now Manor Lords is about to be greatly expanded with new maps, building upgrades, and improvements to the economy as requested by players.
First up, the next strategy game so far – and fortunately, that's getting fixed, too.

Have you noticed how all your ale and water supplies are being rapidly gobbled down, without the game giving you any warning? Seemingly, that is about to become a problem of the past, as the new Manor Lords update is going to totally rework how these two vital resources are distributed, and offer new interface elements so you can track consumption more closely. The economy is also being improved via changes to the marketplace. Slavic Magic says they have tested three different systems for better goods distribution, and found one that is the most "engaging, intuitive, and easy-to-understand."
Players have also been asking for the ability to filter how and where goods are distributed from the market, so they can be more selective over who gets what and when, and micromanage Manor Lords' production chains more closely. Thankfully, this will also arrive with the new update. We're still awaiting a release date for the big overhaul, but it will hopefully make Manor Lords a fuller, more round city-building game.
