I've played far too much Monster Hunter Wilds in the weeks since it launched, culminating in roughly 100 hours of chasing down larger-than-life beasts and, ultimately, getting my butt whooped multiple times. If you're like me, you may be looking for the next game to enjoy playing, and fortunately, the opportunity for more monster hunting has arrived with this bundle of Monster Hunter Rise and World for just $10, together. That's a Rathalos-sized bargain.
Few games offer the same delicious cocktail of brutal combat, beautiful worlds, and the thrill of the hunt that you'll find in the Monster Hunter series. With some of the Monster Hunter Rise, which is one of the games in this very generous bundle.
While Wilds and World offer slower-paced experiences, Rise is much more of an action-adventure game that'll keep the adrenaline pumping. Don't get me wrong, there's still the classic chase for better gear, and some hunts can go on for a while, but the smaller areas alongside the introduction of the Wirebug make traversal and the inevitable hunt much quicker.

Despite Wilds' excellent gameplay, I find myself frequently returning to Rise. Something about the pacing, as well as the glorious combat, makes it easier to play in shorter bursts. It also helps that it works wonderfully on Valve's handheld, making it one of my favorite Steam Deck games to play while I'm lounging around.
However, that's not to say that Monster Hunter World isn't worthy of equal praise. This is a slower experience, even more so than Wilds, but that methodical approach to hunting makes it more immersive. There's a good reason our Monster Hunter World review called it "one of the finest action-RPGs" back in 2018, and after years of updates, it's still a truly awesome experience.
While Monster Hunter Wilds is in the spotlight as a new PC game that plenty of fans are enjoying right now, it'll also set you back as a full-priced title. If you're keen to try the two predecessors, or you're hoping to start your journey as a hunter, you can grab both Monster Hunter Rise and World for just $9.99 / £9.99 on Fanatical.
Alternatively, you can also grab both games and their impressively large expansions with Rise's Sunbreak and World's Iceborne for $17.99 / £17.99, giving you hundreds of hours of gameplay for a fraction of Wilds' price tag. Personally, I'd recommend getting both expansions, as they're engaging additions to the ARPGs.
If you're grabbing a copy of Monster Hunter Rise and World with this deal, you're in for a treat, but make sure to grab some friends, as they're some of the best PC games, too – I mean, who doesn't love the dance of battling gigantic monsters?
