Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti sale date might have been leaked by EU retailer

A retailer has cut ahead of Nvidia and posted a potential release date for the RTX 5070 Ti on its site, including the time at which it's rumored to launch.

There's a new rumor regarding the world of graphics cards, hinting that the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti sale date could be February 20. This information comes from a European retailer, Proshop, which has put up the dates for several 5070 Ti cards from brands such as Asus and MSI.

RTX 5070, but Proshop hasn't listed dates on any 5070 cards on its site.

What has been given the February 20 date are various Asus' cards, including its TUF Gaming range. MSI and Gigabyte have also had the dates applied to them across their variations too.

RTX 5070 Ti listing

Retailers will often put a date as a placeholder depending on how their system works. However, Proshop doesn't appear to have anything like that on any other unreleased GPUs.

Even smaller brands like Gainward, Inno3D, and Palit have the dates attached. The listing also details the time of release at 3pm, which lines up with the time new hardware like this often ends up on sale in European regions.

The GPU is set to be priced at $749, $50 cheaper than its previous generation's equivalent. However, with stock issues persisting across the board in the GPU and U world right now, it could end up with a much higher price than anticipated. The Intel Battlemage B580 has seen its budget $249 price jump by $100 or more on leading US storefronts like Newegg.

While the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5090 review we found it doesn't quite live up to its potential due to its exuberant $2,000 price tag and lackluster performance on non-ray traced games. We'll just have to wait and see if the half-step 5070 Ti is worth its $200 price increase over the weaker 5070.
