The Palworld Terraria crossover is almost here. Bringing together two of the biggest survival games of all time, we'll soon be catching all-new mobs and creatures in Pocketpair's smash hit. That's not all, however, as a new update from the team finally showcases the event itself, revealing that it'll have new Pals, islands, and more. Launching as part of survival game, this crossover is poised to massively expand everything you can get up to.
For starters, Pocketpair says you'll be able to "catch, train, fight, and work monsters from Terraria just like Pals," suggesting plenty of the latter's mobs will be dropped into the game for you to befriend. Pocketpair also says that additional Pals and islands are coming with the patch, and that full details of the update will be shared in the near future.
While Pocketpair is light on the specific details for now, the team isn't just whacking Terraria mobs into Palworld. This isn't some quick crossover; instead it's part of a bigger update that'll expand all of what Palworld has to offer. Pocketpair's consistent patches have repeatedly breathed new life into the game, with the addition of crossplay and new islands being absolutely huge, so I'm certain that Terraria's arrival will help player counts skyrocket.
In the meantime, though, Pocketpair is still in the middle of a fierce legal battle with the Pokemon Company. The latter is accusing Pocketpair of patent infringement, meaning that the team has had to change certain mechanics, including its iconic throwable Pal Spheres, so it can continue developing the game.
