When is the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom release date? Hold onto your World Stone, Wanderers – the multiverse isn't done with you yet. Gunfire Games has unveiled the next DLC coming to Remnant 2, and that means new weapons, bosses, and archetypes are right around the corner.
Remnant 2's latest Remnant 2 review if you don't believe us. Now that you're suitably convinced, here's what to expect from the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC release date.

The Forgotten Kingdom DLC release date
The Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom DLC release date is April 23, 2024. This was confirmed in the official announcement trailer released by Gunfire Games.
It launches on PC via Steam, Game , and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for console s.
Be aware that this Remnant 2 DLC does not come as a free update – to experience everything it has to offer, you must purchase it separately or as part of the Remnant 2 DLC. This extends to Remnant 2 co-op, but it comes with some caveats.
The Forgotten Kingdom DLC story
Principal designer Ben Cureton already confirmed to PCGamesN that the Remnant 2 DLC locations would correspond to the three main biomes in this iteration of the multiverse. We're headed back to Yaesha to uncover a lost tribe and defeat a vengeful stone spirit called Lydusa. We can expect new allies and storylines as we explore Yaesha's forests and ziggurats – and there'll probably be a twist or two in store before we wrap it up and do it all again.
The Forgotten Kingdom DLC gameplay
The Forgotten Kingdom announcement trailer confirms that Gunfire Games won't be straying from Remnant 2's roots for The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. We'll still be charging through procedurally generated maps, crafting powerful build synergies, and blasting up hordes of enemies – only this time around, stone statues and magic pottery are standing in our way.
We've already caught a glimpse of one of the latest Remnant 2 weapons to expand our arsenal and help us overcome these challenges and reach the end of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC intact.
Yaesha is a fiendishly puzzle-heavy biome, and we expect The Forgotten Kingdom's new locations to include more riddles like the roguelike game.
The Forgotten Kingdom DLC archetype
The Invoker is the latest RPG game, and we're already curious to see how it'll change our approach to combat and team composition in co-op. Given its name, we're willing to bet the Invoker will be a magic-based class. Either way, we'll be sure to keep you updated after its official reveal trailer drops soon.
The Invoker follows the Remnant 2 dual archetype synergies with the core classes.
Now that you're all set for the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC release date, we've got the best Remnant 2 difficulty while you're at it – we won't judge.
