Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries rewards
At the moment, the only unlockable reward in The Mercenaries is the Handcannon, which is unlocked by achieving an S-rank – a score of at least 200,000 – in all three stages.
The Handcannon is also available for completing the main story on Professional mode without using bonus weapons. However, unlocking the Handcannon in Mercenaries is far easier by most standards, so if you are still to get your hands on one of the Resident Evil 4 Remake S rank, then this is perhaps the way to go. Once unlocked, the Handcannon is available for 1,000 in the Extra Content shop.
The other unlockables in Resident Evil 4 Remake The Mercenaries are the remaining playable characters, as only Leon is available at first.
- Luis Serra – Achieve Rank A or higher as Leon in any stage.
- Jack Kra – Achieve Rank A or higher as Luis in any stage.
- HUNK – Achieve Rank A or higher as Kra in any stage.

The four playable characters in Resident Evil 4 Remake The Mercenaries are:
- Leon S Kenney
- Jack Kra
- Luis Serra
- HUNK
This differs from leaked information before the mode's release date, which seemed to reveal that, like in the original Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries mode, Ada Wong and Albert Wesker would be playable.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries maps
There are three the Mercenaries maps, or stages, in Resident Evil 4 Remake at the present time, with a fourth suspected to be added in a future update.
- The Village
- The Castle
- The Island
The Castle is immediately unlocked upon completing one run-through of The Village, regardless of your score. The same is said for The Island, upon one completion of The Castle.
