How do you break Batterus Lo walls in Revenge of the Savage Planet? As you make your way through the second planet, you'll come across a wall that blocks the way to the underground portion where the big boss (and one important piece of equipment) awaits you.
This puzzle can be a little tricky to solve initially, as Revenge of the Savage Planet doesn't explain how the Goo Ingestor works or how you use it to electrify the wall itself in the metroidvania game. Follow this guide to track down the Goo Ingestor, allowing you to break the Batterus Lo wall on Xephyr so you can put an end to Wormzilla once and for all.
Goo Ingestor location
The Goo Ingestor requires you to get two parts located on Xephyr. Once you scan the Ferro Goo plant, your journal will update with the locations of the two Goo Ingestor part locations. Follow the nearest indicator to the Pillars of Turpitude.
Once you're here, follow the black and pink cables going from the container to find each of the targets. After shooting the targets, open up the container and grab the first of the Goo Ingestor parts.
The second part can be found in the northwest section of the map, called Deadwood Gulch. You need to hack the container to get access to the part, so set EKO to work while you fend off the incoming enemies. Keep moving and focus on taking out the Vaperons first. Once the hacking is complete, open up the container to get the second Ingestor part.
With this done, use a teleporter to return to your home base and use your 3D printer. Go to the Power Hose section and select the Goo Ingestor upgrade. This requires 300 Aluminum (green), 500 Carbon (blue), and 310 Silicon (yellow) to print, but you should have plenty of each if you've been harvesting ores as you've been going so far. With your Goo Ingestor ready to rock, it's time to return to the entrance to the depths of Xephyr to electrify the Batterus Lo wall.
How to break Batterus Lo walls
The large electrified mushrooms (Fungal Generators) need to be connected to the three brown roots coming away from the wall via the Dormant Fungal Receptors (smaller, thinner mushrooms). To accomplish this, interact with the purple plant (Ferro Dispenser) on the center platform to fill your Goo Dispenser with the conductive liquid.
Equip the Ferro Goo, then create a path of purple goo from a Fungal Generator to the Dormant Fungal Receptors at the end of each root leading to the door. The first one on the center platform is the easiest to activate, a quick line should do the trick. You'll know it's worked when the receptor starts glowing.
Heading over to the south side of the cave, you'll need to draw a line of Ferro Goo from the Fungal Generator hidden behind the pillar to the left of the center platform. The goo sticks to the wall, so it's another relatively easy job.
The third and final Dormant Fungal Receptor is up on the northwest wall of the cave, tucked around the corner. Before you head over there, refill your Ferro Goo. Spray the goo from the generator mushroom immediately on the wall. There's a gap in the floor, so it's easier to just go straight up onto the wall and then follow the brown root to the receptor.
Before you head through the Batterus Lo wall, right by the third and final receptor mushroom, you'll find a pile of junk and some cryopods. Scan the pods, as this is required for the Best Served Cold quest, where you're helping Tweed take down Alta. With the Batterus Lo wall removed, you're free to venture into the depths below. Here, you'll face off against Wormzilla again and get your hands on the Gritworks Magnetic Fork.
And that's all you need to electrify the Batterus Lo wall in Revenge of the Savage Planet. While you're here, give our best co-op games for more experiences just like this.
