What are the Runescape Dragonwilds spells? From Bones to Peaches to Superheat, Runescape Dragonwilds inherits familiar magic from its source material. However, it has more than a few new witchy tricks up its sleeve that'll come in clutch on your adventures throughout Ashenfall.
As you progress through the Runescape Dragonwilds spells do, read on.
All Runescape Dragonwilds spells
The Runescape Dragonwilds spells are:
Tempest Shield
- Skill tree: Attack
- Level acquired: 11
- Cooldown: 60 seconds
- Requirements: 15x Air Rune
Your main magical defensive tool, Tempest Shield, is incredibly handy when you're planning to take on multiple mobs and need the extra reassurance that you won't get pulverized, even while blocking. Tempest Shield ends with a flourish, sending out a burst of energy that knocks enemies back.
Enchant Weapon: Fire
- Skill tree: Attack
- Level acquired: 20
- Cooldown: 90 seconds
- Requirements: 15x Fire Rune, 5x Astral Rune
Fire is your friend in Dragonwilds. Not only can it be used to illuminate the darkest dungeons, but it's also great for dealing extra damage to enemies when you enchant your melee weapons with it. Enchant Weapon: Fire will burn enemies you clobber, though only when you crit.
Enchant Weapon: Air
- Skill tree: Attack
- Level acquired: 30
- Cooldown: 90 seconds
- Requirements: 15x Air Runes, 5x Astral Runes
If you're more of a 'death by a thousand cuts' kind of person, then forego a fiery blade in favor of one imbued with the power of air. Enchant Weapon: Air increases your melee weapon's attack speed, helping you get your hits in before the enemy can retaliate.
Rocksplosion
- Skill tree: Mining
- Level acquired: 11
- Cooldown: 45 seconds
- Requirements: 15x Earth Rune, 5x Fire Rune, Pickaxe
Mining is one of Dragonwilds' most mind-numbing tasks, but thanks to Rocksplosion, it no longer has to be that way. For the low cost of just 15 Earth Runes and five Fire Runes, you can instantly kaboom nearby stone boulders and ore, showering yourself in rubble (and materials).
Detect Ore + Clay
- Skill tree: Mining
- Level acquired: 24
- Cooldown: 10 seconds
- Requirements: 5x Astral Rune, 5x Earth Rune
While Rocksplosion is a dream, it's useless if you can't find kablammable minerals. Fortunately, Detect Ore + Clay remedies this, conjuring stone spirits that guide you to your next detonable deposit.
Axtral Projection
- Skill tree: Woodcutting
- Level acquired: 11
- Cooldown: 45 seconds
- Requirements: Logging Axe
The first spell you'll acquire on your journey is Axtral Projection, which is a good thing because chopping down trees and procuring logs takes even longer than mining. With Axtral Projection, you can magically launch your axe through a line of trees, instantly felling them.
Splinter
- Skill tree: Woodcutting
- Level acquired: 27
- Cooldown: 45 seconds
- Requirements: 5x Nature Runes, 10x Earth Runes
While Axtral Projection is good, Splinter is the real money-maker. As the former knocks down the trees, the latter instantly divides the felled trunk into loggable sections.
Bark to Bones
- Skill tree: Artisan
- Level acquired: 11
- Cooldown: 300 seconds
- Requirements: 10x Nature Runes, 10x Earth Runes
If your deer tracking skills aren't up to snuff, and you couldn't hit a barn door with your bow, don't worry. Bark to Bones will take a nearby tree and instantly turn it into several animal bones that you can gleefully scoop up.
Superheat
- Skill tree: Artisan
- Level acquired: 20
- Cooldown: 10 seconds
- Requirements: 15x Fire Rune, 5x Air Rune
While Dragonwilds' Superheat doesn't quite work the same way as Runescape's Superheat Item spell, it's designed similarly. When cast on fire-based stations (kilns, etc.), Superheat boosts processing speed for a while.
Magical Mending
- Skill tree: Artisan
- Level acquired: 27
- Cooldown: 60 seconds
- Requirements: 20x Earth Rune, 10x Nature Rune
Durability can be a real pain to manage, and if you're stuck with a weapon or tool that's about to break while far from home, you're in for a tough time. While you could simply build a crafting bench and make a new one, that's boring. Instead, use Magical Mending to repair them instantly.
Eye of Oculus
- Skill tree: Construction
- Level acquired: 11
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Requirements: 3x Astral Runes
While we don't really know why freelook building has been gated behind magic, it's not that big of a deal considering Eye of Oculus is dirt cheap to cast and has a short cooldown time. While not a necessity, it's certainly nice to have access to.
Summon Shelter
- Skill tree: Construction
- Level acquired: 20
- Cooldown: 15 seconds
- Requirements: 10x Astral Rune, 10x Earth Rune
The Construction tree houses some of the most useful spells in Dragonwilds, and Summon Shelter is one of them. If your adventuring has taken you several leagues away from your base and your strength is fading fast, simply cast Summon Shelter to create a temporary place to rest your weary head.
Personal Chest
- Skill tree: Construction
- Level acquired: 40
- Cooldown: 5 seconds
- Requirements: 20x Law Rune, 15x Astral Rune
One of the more Runescape Dragonwilds spells, Personal Chest grants you access to your storage no matter how far from home you are. This is incredibly useful if you're on a major mining expedition or have just cleared out a dungeon and need to deposit your lashings of loot.
Internal Alchemy
- Skill tree: Cooking
- Level acquired: 20
- Cooldown: 210 seconds
- Requirements: 10x Nature Rune
Internal Alchemy is a strange one on paper. After all, why would you want to reset your food and drink buffs? Regardless, this is the spell's purpose, and it does it "with a spectacular display of culinary appreciation."
Bones to Peaches
- Skill tree: Cooking
- Level acquired: 27
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Requirements: 10x Nature Rune, 5x Earth Rune
Bones to Peaches is back, baby. While it's slightly more expensive to cast rune-wise than its Runescape counterpart, it's worth it considering you need to eat to survive in Dragonwilds. Throw bones on the ground, cast the spell, and receive delicious fruits. Lovely stuff.
Windstep
- Skill tree: Runecrafting
- Level acquired: 8
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Requirements: 5x Air Rune
Ashenfall has its fair share of awkward terrain, including sheer cliff faces and deathly drops. Jumping around will only get you so far, and Windstep will get you further. Providing a big, windy leap in return for a smattering of Air Runes, Windstep is a handy hop to have in your arsenal.
Fire Spirit
- Skill tree: Runecrafting
- Level acquired: 20
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Requirements: 10x Fire Rune
Torches are for losers, or people who don't have access to Fire Spirit. This whimsical incantation conjures up a tiny sprite that will light the path ahead, freeing up your hands to use other tools or weapons.
And those are all the Runescape Dragonwilds spells. Now you have these incantations ingrained in your brain, set forth onto the Dragonwilds map, and bring down those dragons with maximum magical force.
