Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order system requirements don't require your gaming PC to be a Death Star, but the action-adventure game does ask for moderate specs to play.It might've made your heart skip a beat if you were around to see 32GB of system memory listed in the recommended requirements, but rest assured, you only need 8GB and 16GB is plenty.
As for the rest, the developers at Respawn Entertainment recommend an eight-core Ryzen 7 1700 as the U of choice. Lucky for most you'll only need a four-core Intel chip for the rec spec, but even that's the best of the best i7 chip from the Skylake generation: the Core i7 6700K.
Minimum | Recommended | |
OS | Windows 7/8.1/10 64-bit | Windows 7/8.1/10 64-bit |
---|---|---|
U | Intel Core i3-3220 AMD FX-6100 |
Intel Core i7-6700K AMD Ryzen 7 1700 |
RAM | 8GB | 16GB |
GPU | Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 AMD Radeon HD 7750 |
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 |
VRAM | 1GB | 8GB |
Storage | 55GB | 55GB |
As for graphical power, you best come prepared. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order reportedly prefers a rig of mid- to high-end GPU gusto, such as the RX Vega 56 or GTX 1070 – although a couple of generations old, it still packs a punch. That does mean that the most popular GPU currently in the market, the GTX 1060, falls just shy of the recommended specs.
As initially suspected, a gaming PC build of such power and esteem was not truly required for the recommended experience in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A half-decent mainstream build packed with 16GB of memory will do just fine for this Unreal Engine title – especially considering its simultaneous Playstation 4 and Xbox One launch.
