The Humble Choice games for May 2025 are here, and despite there being no big triple-A titles, there are still eight quite incredible games on offer. This month focuses on games from indie developers, all of which are worth your time and run great on the Steam Deck. Better still, by jumping on this month's games, you'll save over $250 against the total MSRP of the games when purchased individually, the biggest saving of any month so far in 2025.
If you've got one of the ROG Ally X, these games will all work great. In recent months, some titles have been Uned or needed workarounds to play properly on the Steam Deck, but this month we have five Verified games and three Playable ones.
Breaking down the numbers, for just $11.99 / £8.99, you can get $258.41 / £232.55 worth of games on Steam. The biggest saving of the year previously was $246.47 in March, where two of the games were technically Uned and only three were verified for Steam Deck.
There is no hip obligation with Humble Choice, meaning you can pay for one month, claim your games, and cancel your subscription at any time – the games are yours to keep forever. If a new set of games arrives that you don't like, or perhaps you own many of them already, you can also opt to skip a month. To grab your subscription, click this link here.

Quite frankly, May has given us eight brilliant games, making it all the more difficult to highlight just a few as standouts, but I'll do my best. The first game I'll mention is Evil West, a brutal western adventure with a sci-fi twist. You're tasked with eradicating a vampire threat in order to save the United States.
Great to play alone, but even better with a friend in co-op, Evil West is a fantastic action romp that will appeal to anyone who loves movies like From Dusk Till Dawn or Wild Wild West (it's a guilty pleasure).
The next game I'll highlight is Shadow Gambit The Cursed Crew, a stealth-strategy game with a nautical theme. Pirates, strategy, and stealth might not sound like the most conventional mix, and it isn't, but it works great.
On top of its unique mix of genres, Shadow Gambit also takes a non-linear approach to storytelling, meaning your playthrough could be very different from anyone else's as you unlock crew and islands in a different order as you progress, based on your choices.
Finally, I have to mention Star Wars Bounty Hunter, a remake of the classic PS2 and GameCube game. This third-person adventure puts you in the shoes of the legendary Jango Fett as you attempt to capture a rogue Jedi. Set before the events of Star Wars Attack of the Clones, all of the games' events aren't officially recognized as canon, but they add some much-needed background to the story of this iconic bounty hunter.
