What to expect at CES 2025
Here are some of the rumors we heard in the build up to CES 2025:
CES 2025 is expected to be a bumper year for big new chip launches from AMD, Intel, and Nvidia. Nvidia is kicking off the show with a keynote presentation where it's expected to unveil its Blackwell architecture gaming GPUs, such as the DLSS 4.
AMD is also expected to make some major product launches, including its extremely powerful 9950X3D on the cards.
LG is also expected to reveal a host of new OLED gaming displays, include a massive MSI MPG271QRX review.
Elsewhere, we can also expect AI to play a big part in just about every product announced at the show – it was already big deal at CES 2024 – so we can look forward to that.
CES 2025 dates
CES 2025 took place between January 7-10, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The exact dates shift every year, in accordance with it being a mid-week event, but it generally takes place in the second week of January.
CES 2026 will take place on January 6-9, 2026, with it moving nearly a full week earlier than the CES 2024 dates of January 9-12. That leaves even less time for those attending to recover from their winter holiday excesses but will bring the latest tech announcements to us even sooner.
Where is CES 2025?
The Las Vegas Convention Center is the main hub of CES, with the massive event space hosting hundreds of booths where companies get to show off their latest gear. The event also sees meetings take place across Las Vegas, with The Venetian hotel being one of the main hosts. Meanwhile, the Mandalay Bay will host all the main press conferences on the first day of the show – the official press-only day.
